About the Role
This is a part-time, on-site role based in Nunawading, VIC, as a Junior Bridal Stylist. We are looking for a vibrant, high-energy Junior Bridal Stylist to join our team. In this role, you will be the heartbeat of the showroom, ensuring every bride feels welcomed and every gown looks flawless. This is a foundational role designed for someone who is passionate about fashion and eager to learn the art of bridal styling from the ground up. You will support our senior team, manage the boutique’s presentation, and eventually transition into leading your own appointments.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
1. The Guest Experience
Act as the first point of contact, warmly welcoming brides and their guests to the boutique.
Assist with bridesmaid appointments and lead accessory styling sessions.
Guide brides through their pick up appointments, ensuring their final experience with their gown is perfect.
2. Styling & Support
Provide essential support to Senior Stylists during consultations.
Prepare fitting rooms with all necessary styling tools before each appointment.
Style and dress mannequins to showcase our latest collections and trends.
Shadow senior consultants to learn body-shape analysis and the art of helping a bride confidently say 'yes' to her dress through trust and rapport.
3. Inventory & Presentation
Maintain a "runway-ready" showroom by ensuring all gowns are straight, trains are elegantly displayed, and stock is organized by size and style.
Handle delicate inventory with care, including steaming gowns and organizing new arrivals.
Promptly notify brides when their orders have arrived and oversee the secure storage of their gowns.
4. Boutique Maintenance
Take pride in the showroom’s appearance by performing nightly closing duties, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and cleaning mirrors.
Qualifications & Requirements
Personality: A "people person" with a sunny, vibrant disposition. You must be able to match the excitement of a bride while remaining professional and calm under pressure.
Attention to Detail: You have an eye for the little things—whether it's a stray thread, a crooked mannequin, or a smudge on a mirror.
Physical Stamina: This is a fast-paced role that requires being on your feet, lifting heavy gowns, and moving quickly between the showroom and fitting rooms.
Communication: Excellent verbal skills and a polished, professional manner when speaking with clients over the phone or in person.
Availability: Must be able to work Saturdays (the busiest time in the bridal world).
Ambition: A genuine interest in fashion and sales with a desire to grow into a Senior Stylist role.
