THE EXPERIENCE - FINDING YOUR DREAM WEDDING DRESS
I went with my bridesmaids to Fairytales originally just to get an idea of what I like and while browsing came across several dresses that fit what I had in mind. I tried every single one on, but once I put on the Essense of Australia dress, I just knew it was the one. My face instantly lit up and I found myself spinning in circles with a huge smile on my face. It was meant to be.
THE WEDDING DAY
Our wedding was originally going to be a normal wedding, nothing special or fancy. However, while browsing venues we came across Avalon Castle where I learned that you could cut the wedding cake with a sword! Well, that started everything! Our wedding suddenly became a medieval/fantasy wedding which was inspired by my partner and I's love for geeky - from Harry Potter to World of Warcraft (where we met) ... Soon it was a full blown fantasy event with unicorns, dragons, knights and princesses. It was magical.
WHAT WAS THE BEST MOMENT OF THE DAY?
The best moment for me personally was getting to see our wedding cake for the first time and getting to cut it with the sword that started everything. We struggled to cut it, but that just made the moment funny and more memorable.
WHAT IS NEXT FOR THE NEWLYWEDS? I'm currently pregnant so next on the agenda is for King Jake and Queen Denise to have a little prince.
